Verizon and truecaller app7/3/2023 I tested RoboKiller, Hiya Premium, Verizon Call Filter Plus, and Malwarebytes Premium, and RoboKiller seems to be the most effective at combating scam calls, especially with its voice printing detection feature. However, since installing RoboKiller, it seems to have been extremely effective at combating scam calls. Price: Basic service is free, 4.49/month or 29.99/year for Truecaller Premium and 249.99/year for Truecaller Premium Gold App Store rating: 4.6/5 stars Google Play Store rating. It also has some scam call protection as well. So the caller number will show as 'removed rn1817602'. The real caller number will be there, followed by the characters in the subject line. ![]() I need to keep Verizon Call Filter Plus for certain since I need “Caller Name ID” for callers that are not in my contacts, and the service works well across both my iPhone and even my Apple Watch if I’m away from my phone. Just in the past week or so, calls I receive often have extra characters showing up as the calling number. Two services I currently subscribe to that have some overlap are: Verizon Call Filter Plus (about $3/month on my Verizon bill) and RoboKiller (about $30/year billed through Apple). I’m scaling back a ton of services in 2021 to help reduce expenses, trying to keep mostly essential services.
